JAG came to visit me in Evergreen Colorado for the trade shows that were happening in April of 2014. We made this piece at the Everdream Studio and it became part of the "Big Headed" series of collaborations that were exhibited at the Galleria in the B.I.G. trade show in Denver Colorado.
"Blue Warrior" was an example of my experimentation with smaller design concepts in early 2014. This piece was the first in a series of warrior pieces and pendants I made in the spring of 2014 and was constructed in Evergreen Colorado.

My little brother always loved to make these donut cubes. I had a lot of fun experimenting with waving the strands of hair through the holes of the donuts. Josh St. George made the tubes in California and sent them to me in Colorado where I decorated them marking the these little beauties the first brother sister collaboration in over five years.
Collaboration with Calm Glass
Calvin Mickle came to visit me at the Chateau in Evergreen Colorado in the fall of 2014. This was our second collaboration. The Cloud Native was inspired by the mountains that surround my studio.

The Coco lady resulted after Darby Holm came for a brief visit to Evergreen Colorado in the winter of 2014. Nothing like feeling like your on the beach with a snowcapped mountain view. She puts the lime in the coconut and drink it all up!

"The Coral Face" was part of the "Big Headed" series of collaborations that were exhibited at the Galleria in the B.I.G. trade show in Denver. This piece was constructed at Everdream Studio in Evergreen CO April 2014. Coral Face was inspired by a fish we saw eyeballing us from a fish tank in the waiting room of a sushi restaurant in Denver Colorado.

"First Maiden" was the very first collaboration to come out of my studio The Chateau in Colorado in the Spring of 2014. Bryan Dosher is the man I get to give credit to for helping me build my shop in the mountains... and also with inspiring this beautiful piece.

"Joker Face" is a collaboration with Steve Bates. He used a small Doshworld section in the middle of the can. This piece was created in Evergreen Colorado in the fall of 2014.

This one of a kind piece is an experimental design between myself and Steve Bates. "Laid Back Blonde" was constructed in Evergreen Colorado in May of 2014.
Collaboration with Hamm.
Hamm sent me a bunch of parts in the mail and set forth the challenge to see what I could make. This little piece ended up being one of my more difficult collaborations. After seeing how lovely she came out I have to give some serious recognition to Hamm for forcing me out of my own box on this project. This piece was created in Evergreen Colorado 2014.

"Lilac Squidtress" was part of the "Big Headed" series of collaborations that were exhibited at the Galleria in the B.I.G. trade show in Denver. This was a collaboration with Salt when he came to visit Everdream Studio in Colorado in April 2014.

"Lovers" is a collaboration with Brandon Taylor (BMFT). They were originally part of a mini series we made and this pair we made in no particular order. The second we paired them up for a photo shoot however, we realized they were meant to be together. Created in Evergreen Colorado 2014
Collaboration with Dosh.
"The Maiden #2" is a collaboration with Bryan Dosher (doshworld) created at The Château in Spring 2014. I am always in awe when I observe light interacting with glass. Almost a medium in itself, light is seductively drawn into the slender lines of the glass. When they meet, they instantly become one and perform a dance that can last for eternity or the blink of an eye. Separate, they are powerful forces, but when combined they reach their highest calling by giving birth to magnificent beauty beyond this world.

Being the only collaboration in existence between LaceFace and WJC, Maya the goddess of the lunar eclipse is a rare and special phenomenon. Completed during the Lunar eclipse, Maya was blessed. She teaches us there are times the darkness may try and overshadow our light, but our fire is too bright to be burned out. She is a light in the darkness. A symbol of a new horizon ahead. Maya was part of the "Big Headed" series of collaborations that were exhibited at the Galleria in the B.I.G. trade show in Denver. This piece was constructed at Everdream Studio in Evergreen CO April 2014.

I taught my first workshop in 2014 with Robert Mickelsen at Pure Virtue Glass Studio In Rockville MD. It was a true honor getting to work with one of my hero's in the glass world. "Tango" depicts the delicate dance of two partners coming togather to create a beautiful and cohesive balance. This is precisely the way I would describe the experience of that workshop in september of 2014. In my opinion the best collaborations are the ones in which the work feels as effortless as a Tango.
The Chateau Production line was a series of 81 pieces I created with a small production team in 2014. The Bubble trap prep work was created by CJ Bullock from Longmont CO.
"The Fire Starter" was an experiment with color and form. In 2014 I tried to scale down my work in order to add more detail to a smaller space. This piece was constructed at Everdream Studio in Evergreen CO in the Spring of 2014.

Meet The Swiss Miss ladies. These are one of a kind Dosher made Swiss pec collabs. Big props to Nate Dizzle the OG Swiss perc man for inspiration. It is important to remember our past in order to embrace our future. We can be inspired by others. But when we replicate only what we see we lose our own voice. We are lost to to the world. Show me a well done technique, and I will applaud for a moment. Show me something I've never seen before and I will remember you for a lifetime. This piece was created in Evergreen Colorado in 2014.
